A re-drawing of India's earliest printed cotton — one of the original Fermoie designs, and still one of the most quietly compelling. The small-scale geometric repeat is printed using only natural pigments on 100% cotton, and the hand-gathered pleating that we watched in the Wiltshire workshop gives the finished shade its characteristic softness. More than 12 people individually contributed to this shade being produced! Ancient in origin, entirely fresh in its color.
