Henriëtte van Marle has been designing table linens since founding her eponymous brand in London, drawing on a background in interiors and a deep love of Dutch craftsmanship. Each piece is handmade by skilled artisans using heritage techniques — hand-cut embroidery, traditional finishing — on certified 100% linen and organic cotton of the highest quality. We met Henriëtte through a regular customer of ours whose cousin she happens to be, and when we sat down with her in London we knew immediately we wanted to work together. The pieces we carry were designed specifically for Rusticator — each one created in conversation with us, for our shop and our customers.
Henriëtte's Bluebell is inspired by the soft, calming hues of springtime blooms — pale blue linen with white satin thread embroidery in the shape of delicate bells. The kind of napkin that makes an ordinary Tuesday dinner feel like more of an occasion, and that earns its place on the table for something special too.
