Matthew Hall molded this directly from a scallop shell, casting it in solid bronze using the classic lost wax method at his small family-owned foundry. He personally inspects and preps each one before it goes out the door. The shell required only the slightest modification to function as a bottle opener, which means what you're holding is as close to the real thing as bronze allows.
