A tulip never stays still in a vase. It bends toward the light and opens a little more each day, and Ashley has caught one at a single moment in that change. She presses every flower herself using traditional methods, mounts it on art board or paper, and sets it in a mat with its plant name, her signature and the date. It’s framed in wood behind UV-coated conservation glass. Over the years the color will soften while the form stays exactly as she pressed it, which is part of the beauty of a pressed flower.
Hang it out of direct sunlight. One of a kind.
