Flowers are pressed by Ashley H Mohrman using traditional methods, mounted on art board or paper. Specimens are set with a mat, with its plant name, signature and date. Framed in wood with UV coated conservation glass to offer maximum protection from exposure to light.
I advise hanging your pressed flowers away from direct sunlight. Each pressing captures the individual beauty and character of the specimen in that moment. Although preserved, its unique nature will continue to change over time. Pressed botanicals will inevitably lose color, although they will never lose their form. Celebrate this as part of a flower’s ephemeral nature.
